The story so far....
Majken and Calum - Co Founders of Kriger Apparel
Kriger Apparel was first conceptualised in November 2019. As huge fans of the sport of Crossfit and passionate about our own functional fitness goals, we were on the lookout for a new bag for the gym when we had the realisation that there were very few originally designed bags for functional fitness currently on the market. It was then we decided to design our own and things really went from there. Kriger was officially founded in early 2020.
While not a great time to start a new business during a global pandemic, we persisted with a belief in delivering a great product to our fellow athletes. This drive carried us through and with some amazing people and a bit of luck we caught the attention of the Buttery Bros, who were keen to do a collaboration and who have ultimately ended up joining Kriger as business partners, such is their belief in the brand and products.
In late 2021 we launched a US website along with our Kriger X Buttery Bros collab collection and a new Burnt Orange Pack, all featuring, by popular demand, new molle velcro options to the front of the packs for the 'patch lovers'.
What the future holds....
We are still a small company and as such, building resources for growth comes slower for us than for bigger brands, however, as we continue to grow we will look to add more colour options on the current designs. Also in the pipeline we are in discussions on new bag prototypes (please send us anything you would like to see featured on new bags). We also have lots of exciting new opportunities developing into 2022 so watch this space for news.
We have a strong belief and desire to help professional athletes in our sport and as the company grows we plan to put a large emphasis on making Kriger a brand for the people and give back to our community as best we can.
